Anna H. Molnar Mizak, 85, of the Morgan section of Sayreville died on Friday October 6, 2017 at home. Born in Perth Amboy she lived in Perth Amboy and Morgan all her life. Before retiring she was employed by Parkway Fabricators, South Amboy. A communicant of St. Mary’s R.C. Church, South Amboy she was also a member of the South Amboy and Sayreville Senior Citizens Clubs and the St. Stanislaus Kostka Wednesday Club. She enjoyed trips to Atlantic City and was an avid fan of the New York Yankees and Dallas Cowboys.

Daughter of the late Joseph Molnar and Helene Karemza Jago she is also predeceased by her husband Lawrence Mizak; her stepfather George Jago; her brother Joseph Molnar and her sister Lillian D’Apolito. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Lawrence D. and Kathy Mizak of Milton, Florida; her daughters Cathy A. Ashton and her husband Edward of Sandyston and Susan Holzinger; her grandchildren Shannon Ashton and her fiancé Don Szatkowski of South Amboy, Kelly Holleran and her husband Scott of Blowing Rock, North Carolina, Erin Young and her husband William of Asheville, North Carolina, Michael and David Mizak of Philadelphia, Anna Mizak of Maryland and Autumn Holzinger of Sandyston and her great-grandson Finlay Holleran.

Funeral services will be held on Friday October 13, 2017 at 9:45am from The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy followed by a 10:30am Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary’s Church, South Amboy. Interment will be in St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia. Visitation will be on Thursday from 4 to 8pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Morgan First Aid Squad, 1960 Route 35, South Amboy, NJ 08879.
