Diane Grace Burgess Paul, 64, of South Amboy died on Thursday October 6, 2016 at Overlook Medical Center, Summit. Born in New Brunswick she lived in Highland Park and Edison before moving to South Amboy in 1986. She embraced life, and leaves behind a legacy of love, honesty, handbags and porcelain dolls. She enjoyed trips to New Orleans, Louisiana and was a Saints football fan.

Daughter of the late William Burgess, she is also predeceased by her husband Michael C. Paul, Sr. who died in 2008. She is survived by her son Michael C. Paul, Jr. of South Amboy; her daughter Melissa Maiorino of Woodbridge; her mother Frieda Burgess of Highland Park, her brother Gil Burgess of Freehold and her grand-dogs Gracie and Jade.

A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday October 12, 2016 at 6:30pm at The Gundrum Service "Home For Funerals" 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy. Cremation was private. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 5 to 7pm.
