Dorothy A. “Dottie” Cohan Stalknecht, 77, of Keansburg died on Friday September 22, 2017 at Regency Park Nursing Home, Hazlet. Born in Jersey City she lived in Keansburg most of her life.

Daughter of the late Richard and Winiferd Butch Cohan she is also predeceased by her son Richard Kenneth Mott and her brother Kenneth Cohan. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Deborah and David Martinez of Hopelawn; her son and daughter-in-law Scott and Darlene Stalknecht of Cocoa Beach, Florida; her brother and sister-in-law Richard, Jr. and Diane Cohan of Toms River; her grandchildren Amy and Taylor Martinez, Richard Kenneth and Spencer Mott, Shannon and Shane Stalknecht and Kelly Andujar and her great-grandchildren Mackenzie and Logan Andujar and Brodie Jaxon Martinez.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday September 30, 2017 at 11am at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 28 South Fourth Street, Fords, NJ. Arrangements are under the direction of The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy.
