John J. Noble, 88, of Old Bridge died on Thursday March 29, 2018 at home. Born in South Amboy he lived in Old Bridge for 55 years. Before retiring he was employed by Old Bridge Township Board of Education as an educator. A member of St. Bernadette R.C. Church, Parlin he was also a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 426, the Holy Name Society and NJ Right to Life.
Son of the late Joseph and Helen Dooling Noble he is survived by his wife Joyce Marshall Noble; his sons and daughters-in-law John C. and Lisa Noble of Jackson and Patrick and Susan Noble of Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin; his daughters and sons-in-law Kelly and Christopher Reimers of Scotch Plains and Kathleen and Mark Carroll of Fort Collins, Colorado; his brother Thomas Noble of South Amboy and 10 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday April 7, 2018 at 9:15am from The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy followed by 10am Mass of Christian Burial at St. Bernadette Church, Parlin. Cremation will be private. Visitation will be on Friday from 4 to 8pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to New Jersey Right to Life, 242 Old New Brunswick Road, Piscataway, NJ 08854.
