John S. Reszkowski, 52, of South Amboy died on Thursday August 3, 2017 at home. Born in South Amboy he lived in Kendall Park before returning to South Amboy last year.

Son of the late Bernard and Jane Gundrum Reszkowski he is also predeceased by his nephew Hugh Riley Rone in 2016. He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law Hugh G. and Barbara Rone of South Amboy; his nieces Ryan Moran and her husband Sean of South Amboy, Randi Simonetti of Rocky Point, New York and Regan Rone of South Amboy; his aunts Eleanor Szaro and Sue Reszkowski; his cousins Christopher Gundrum and his wife Diane, Jeannine Hogan and Mary Gundrum and his great-niece and nephews Maisie and Rory Moran and Anthony and James Simonetti.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Thursday August 10, 2017 at 9:30am at St. Mary’s R.C. Church, South Amboy. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, South Amboy. A memorial visitation will be held on Thursday from 8 to 9am at The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy.
