Laura Ann Krebs Grant, 60, of South River died on Monday October 2, 2017 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. She was the most caring woman who took anyone in as her own. She enjoyed being with family, as they were the most important part of her life. She loved crafts and could sew anything back together. She lived life to the absolute fullest never letting the hard times get to her. She was strong willed and had a heart of a lion, as it kept her going.

Daughter of the late Joseph and Julia Krebs she is survived by her sons Eddie Kern and his fiancée Maureen Murphy of South Amboy and Steven Kern of New Egypt and her daughter Jessica Grant of Sayreville.

Funeral services will be held on Friday October 6, 2017 at 7pm at The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy. Cremation will be private. Visitation will be on Friday from 6 to 8pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family.
