Mary Patricia Scully Rydzewski, 75, of West Caldwell died on Wednesday October 18, 2017 at St. Michael Medical Center, Newark. Born in South Amboy she lived in Parlin until moving to West Caldwell in 2016. She was a member of Sacred Heart R.C. Church, South Amboy.

Daughter of the late Leo and Mary Grimley Scully she is also predeceased by her husband Herman Rydzewski and her brother James Scully. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Michael and Peg Rydzewski of Bloomfield; her daughter and son-in-law Kathleen and Greg Anhaltzer of Santa Ana, California; her brothers Leo Scully and his wife Patti of Ohio and Kevin Scully of Pennsylvania; her sister Betty Ann Massing of Short Hills; her sister-in-law Joyce Scully; her grandchildren Kira and Jake Anhaltzer and Caitlin and Michael Rydzewski and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Monday October 23, 2017 at 9:15am from The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy followed by a 10am Mass of Christian Burial at Sacred Heart Church, South Amboy. Interment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Parlin. Visitation will be on Sunday from 2 to 4pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Lung Association, P.O.
