Maureen Freeman (Applegate) Obituary

Maureen Freeman (Applegate), 81, of South Amboy died on Friday January 26, 2018 at Venetian Care & Rehabilitation Center, South Amboy. Born in South Amboy she lived there all her life. She was a former mail lady in South Amboy before working as a Registered Nurse at the Woodbridge State School for over 25 years.

Daughter of the late James Roy and Pearl Freeman she is also predeceased by her son James Applegate. She is survived by her son Don Applegate; her daughters Shari Scarfi and her husband John, Patti Ziemba and Terilyn Dahl; 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Cremation will be private. Arrangements are under the direction of The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy.
