Maureen Mundy Riley

Maureen Mundy Riley, 72, of Avenel died on Wednesday April 11, 2018 at Father Hudson House, Elizabeth. Born in Brooklyn, New York she lived in South Amboy before moving to Avenel. Before retiring she was employed as the office manager for Dr. Aruna in Fords for over 30 years. She loved trips to Atlantic City.

Daughter of the late Spencer and Margaret Galucci Mundy she is also predeceased by her husband Lawrence Riley in 2005 and her son Daniel Riley in 2015. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law Lawrence E., Jr. and Susan Riley of Liberty, New York and Timothy and Margaret Riley of Sayreville; her daughter Monica Riley and her wife Margaret Pappas of Manchester; her brother Ralph Mundy of South Amboy; her grandchildren Timothy, Jr., Thomas and his fiancée Krystal Feihl and Robert Riley and her great-granddaughter Toryanna Riley.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday April 14, 2018 at 8:15am from The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy followed by a 9:30am Mass of Christian Burial at Nativity of Our Lord R.C. Church, 185 Applegarth Road, Monroe, NJ 08831. Interment will be in Holy Cross Burial Park, East Brunswick. Visitation will be on Friday from 4 to 8pm.
