Michael Switzer, 60, of South Amboy died on Tuesday October 4, 2016 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Born in South Amboy, he lived in South Amboy all of his life. Before retiring he was employed as a deckhand in Perth Amboy.

Son of the late William and Lillian Litka Switzer, he is also predeceased by his brothers Eugene, Patrick and William Switzer. He is survived by his wife Jacqueline Szwaja Switzer of Laurence Harbor; his son Michael Lee Switzer of Laurence Harbor; his brothers and sisters-in-law Robert and Sylvia Switzer, Shawn and Norine Switzer and Keith and Gaye Switzer; his sisters Anne Fiore, Lillian Horbatt and her husband Peter, Linda Zakrzewski and her husband Stanley, Eilleen Zonkowski and her husband Thomas, Colleen Santucci and her husband Domenick, Marlene Moglia and her husband Robert and Erin Koller and her husband William and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are private under the direction of The Gundrum Service "Home For Funerals" 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy.
