Pauline E. Sager Burke, 95, died on Monday February 13, 2017 at Madison Center, Matawan. Born in Bellefonte, Pennsylvania she lived in South Amboy and Laurence Harbor before moving to Monroe. Before retiring she was employed by Rahway Hospital and Doctor Ambrosio, Parlin for over 20 years.

Daughter of the late George and Helen Roff Sager she is also predeceased by her husband James Burke in 1985; her daughter Helen Spinler in 2003 and her brothers Robert and James Sager. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Patrick and Patricia Burke of South Plainfield; her daughters Catherine Burke of Tinton Falls and Marian Stamatis and her husband Peter of Sayreville; her brothers John Sager of Austin, Texas, and Richard Sager of Bellefonte, Pennsylvania; her sister Barbara Castleberry of Liberty, Tennessee; her grandchildren Pauline Petersen, Richard Petersen and his wife Mary, Kristin Erickson and her husband Keith, James Mioduszewski and his wife Dana, Samantha Sessa, Christopher Burke and his wife Ligia and Melissa Burke and her great-grandchildren R.J. and Kayleigh Petersen, Noah Scott and Mackenzie Sessa, Kara and Kelly Erickson and Ava and Alexa Mioduszewski.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday February 15, 2017 at 11am at The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy. Interment will be in Christ Church Cemetery, South Amboy. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 9:30am to 11am. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, 3401 Civic Center Blvd, Philadelphia, PA 19104.
