Ralph H. Szeszko, 90, of South Amboy died on Tuesday October 3, 2017 at JFK Medical Center, Edison. Born in South Amboy he lived there all his life. Before retiring in 1985 he was employed by E.I. DuPont & Co., Parlin. A U.S. Army veteran of the Pacific Theater of World War II he was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic War Veterans of America. A longtime active member of Sacred Heart R.C. Church, South Amboy he belonged to the St. Vincent DePaul Society, Knights of Columbus Council 426, South Amboy and Boy Scout Troop 95, South Amboy. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved photography.

Son of the late Stanley and Julia Kurtz Szeszko he is also predeceased by his wife Adele Kuzdal Szeszko; his brother Eugene “Hack” Szeszko and his sisters Clara Sharo and Irene Golden. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Linda and Robert Lambertson of South Amboy; his sons Thomas Szeszko of South Amboy, Stanley Szeszko and his wife Debra of South Amboy and Ralph Szeszko and his wife Dawn of South Amboy; his grandchildren Traci Wright and her husband Jody of Florida, Shelley Pezzia and her husband Renato of Piscataway, Stanley Szeszko, Jr. of South Amboy, Robert Lambertson of Pine Hill, Daniel Szeszko of South Amboy, Thomas and Andrea Szeszko of Levittown, Pennsylvania, John Szeszko of Jackson and Ashley and Rosie Szeszko of South Amboy; his great-grandchildren Taylor of Florida and Jacob of Piscataway and his newphews Robert Sharo of South Amboy and William Sharo of Hightstown.

Funeral services will be held on Friday October 6, 2017 at 10:15am from The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy followed by an 11am Mass of Christian Burial at Sacred Heart Church, South Amboy. Interment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Parlin. Visitation will be on Thursday from 4 to 8pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Sacred Heart Church Building Fund.
