William J. Vohdin, 57, of Parlin died on Sunday October 29, 2017 at Haven Hospice at JFK Medical Center, Edison. Born in Perth Amboy he lived in the Madison Park section of Old Bridge. He was employed by Sansone Auto Mall, Woodbridge. He was an avid golfer.

Son of the late Walter J., Jr. and Theresa Baumlin Vohdin he is also predeceased by his brother Walter J. Vohdin, III in 1973. He is survived by his wife Kareen Kurta Vohdin of Parlin; his son William J. Vohdin, Jr. and his wife Shannon Ruegger of Somerset; his daughter Ashley Vohdin of Metuchen; his brother Robert J. Vohdin of Old Bridge; his sister Jean Walsh and her husband Greg Van Liew of Little Egg Harbor; his grandchildren John Brooks, IV and Paige Brooks and his beloved cat Bonnie.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday November 2, 2017 at 12noon at The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy followed by entombment in St. Gertrude Cemetery Mausoleum, Colonia. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 6 to 9pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Old Bridge Animal Shelter, 1 Old Bridge Plaza, Old Bridge, NJ 08857.
