Alan Anslinger, 56, of Hamlin, Pennsylvania died on Wednesday October 31, 2018 at Geisinger Hospital, Scranton. Born in Perth Amboy he grew up and attended schools in Madison Park. He was employed by area supermarkets in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania. He enjoyed fishing, chess and spending time with his 3 labradors Jewel, Reagan and Carter
Son of the late Alfred Anslinger he is also predeceased by his brothers Michael and Patrick. He is survived by his mother Dorothy Anslinger of Matawan; his sister Antoinette and her husband Carmine Fagliarone of Toms River; his brother Nicholas Anslinger and his wife Peggy of Toms River; his daughters Danielle and her husband Patrick McCullough of Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania and Pamela Anslinger and James Johnson of Scranton, Pennsylvania; his son Patrick Anslinger and Cassie Cordaro; his grandchildren Patrick and Liam McCullough, Nicholas, Nathan and Evelyn Johnson; his former wife Margaret Matthews of Scranton, Pennsylvania; his nieces Lynda and Christopher Naspo and Karen and Al Olle and his great-nephews Connor and Logan all of New Jersey.
A memorial visitation will be held on Friday November 9, 2018 at The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy from 4 to 7pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Monmouth County SPCA, 260 Wall St., Eatontown, NJ 07724.
