Angelina A. DiGenio Hester

Angelina A. DiGenio Hester, 87, of South Amboy died on Thursday September 13, 2018 at Venetian Care & Rehabilitation Center, South Amboy. Born in Jersey City she lived in East Brunswick for 25 years before moving to South Amboy in 2014. Before retiring she was employed by PSE&G in Newark and Edison.

Daughter of the late Pantaleo “Patsy” and Catherine Barrotta DiGenio she is also predeceased by her brother John DiGenio; her sister Barbara Merle and her son-in-law Michael Launay. She is survived by her daughters June Launay of Laurence Harbor and Cynthia Dineen and her husband Robert of Parlin; her grandchildren Kyler Dineen and Michael Launay and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday September 19, 2018 at 10am at The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy followed by interment in Holy Name Cemetery, Jersey City. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4 to 8pm.
