Barbara Dolan Rowan, 86, of South Amboy died on Monday July 17, 2017 at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy. Born in Rochester, New York she lived in East Brunswick before moving to South Amboy. Before retiring she was employed by Sterling Extruder Corporation.

Daughter of the late Edwin J. and Virginia McAnally Dolan she is also predeceased by her husband Eugene A. Rowan in 1974 and her brother Lawrence Dolan. She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law Elizabeth and Richard Pierce of Rochester, New York and her brother Joseph Dolan of San Diego, California.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday July 24, 2017 at 10am at St. Ambrose Church, 25 Empire Boulevard, Rochester, NY 14609. Interment will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Rochester, New York. Arrangements are under the direction of The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy.
