Betty Chen Ashe

Betty Chen Ashe, 82, of Whiting died on Saturday May 26, 2018 at home. Born in Taipei, Taiwan she moved to Parlin in 1961, later moved to California and settled in Whiting 16 years ago.

Daughter of the late Beelan Lin Chen she is also predeceased by her husband James G. Ashe in 2001 and her son Thomas C. Ashe. She is survived by her sons James C. and Richard C. Ashe; her daughters Lillie Chen, Elizabeth Pinella and Dianne Urbanski; 12 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday May 31, 2018 at 7pm at The Gundrum Service "Home For Funerals" 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy. Cremation will be private. Visitation will be on Thursday from 4 to 8pm.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Fox Chase Cancer Center, 333 Cottman Avenue, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 19111.
