Bobby V. Martin

Bobby V. Martin, 76, of Old Bridge died on Wednesday November 7, 2018 at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge. Before retiring he was employed as a Corrections Officer for the State of New Jersey in Rahway, Bordentown and Newark. A veteran of the United States Marine Corps he was a bowling fanatic.

He is survived by his wife Maureen Ellison Martin; his daughters and sons-in-law Teresa and Walter Funk of Hazlet and Maureen and Joseph Byrne of Hazlet; his grandchildren Alexander, Erin, Jack and Olivia; his sisters-in-law Patricia Petho, Nancy Peterson and Susan Ellison and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday November 11, 2018 at 3:30pm at The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy. Cremation will be private. Visitation will be on Sunday from 1 to 4pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
