Brian Basara

Brian Basara, 26, of Parlin died on Sunday December 1, 2019 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, Rahway. Born in Elizabeth he lived in Avenel before moving to Parlin 2 years ago. He was the owner of Basara Construction, in Avenel. A 2011 graduate of Colonia High School he also attended Lincoln Technical Institute and Audio Recording School in New York. Brian had a great passion for cars. He initiated and was a part of many Audi car groups. He is predeceased by his grandfather Andrzej Zylka. He is survived by his parents Janusz and Beata Zylka Basara; his brother David Basara of Parlin; his grandparents Jadwiga Zylka of Woodbridge and Zofia and Adam Basara of Colonia and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be held on Thursday December 5, 2019 at 9:15am from The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy followed by a 10am Mass of Christian Burial at Sacred Heart R.C. Church, South Amboy. Cremation will be private. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 6 to 9pm.
