Carol Bartholomew Obituary

Carol A. Bartholomew, 75, of North Brunswick died on Monday October 1, 2018. Born in New Brunswick she was a graduate of St. Peter’s High School. Before retiring she was employed by the United States Postal Service for 42 years. An avid reader, she loved traveling with her mother. She loved her black labs Paddy and Poochie and helped raise several of her nieces and nephews.

Daughter of the late George J. and Mary A. Moran Bartholomew, she is also predeceased by her brother-in-law George Freeman. She is survived by her brother Robert Bartholomew; her sisters Nancy Nirdlinger, Diane Freeman and Susan Gross and her husband Michael and several loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday October 6, 2018 at 9:45am from The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy followed by a 10:30am Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary’s R.C. Church, South Amboy. Interment will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery, New Brunswick. Visitation will be on Friday from 4 to 7pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the South Amboy First Aid Squad, PO Box 328, South Amboy, NJ 08879.
