Casimina Scarcella

Casimina DelGuidice Scarcella, 87, of Hazlet died on Saturday January 5, 2019 at Arnold Walter Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Hazlet. Born in Brooklyn, New York she lived in Staten Island and Brooklyn before moving to Middletown in 2009.

Daughter of the late Nicholas and Nimfa May Gambino DelGuidice she is also predeceased by her husband Nicholas Frank Scarcella in 1998. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Camillo and Elizabeth Scarcella of Staten Island; her daughters and sons-in-law Catherine and Bob Sheedy of Parlin, Jo Ann and Joseph Cartelli of Middletown and Nicoletta Scarcella and Joseph Breder of Long Island, New York; her brother Nicholas DelGuidice of Alabama; her sister Marie Palmieri of Pennsylvania; 12 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday January 9, 2019 at 8:45am from The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy followed by a 9:30am Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary’s R.C Church, South Amboy. Interment will be in the Cemetery of the Resurrection, Staten Island. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm.
