Catherine Romano

Catherine “Cathy” Romano, 73, of Little Egg Harbor died on Friday November 8, 2019 at Jersey Shore Medical Center, Neptune. Born in Newark she moved to Little Egg Harbor in 2000. She was employed by Preferred Home Health Care & Nursing Services, Eatontown.

Daughter of the late Stanley and Flora Marasco Romano she is also predeceased by her significant other Alphonse Rosania in 2013; her brother-in-law Joseph Lucarello and her cousin Suzanne. She is survived by her twin sister Susette Lucarello of Parlin; her niece Rachel Zantarski; her nephew Stanley Zantarski and her cousins Don, Carol, Barbara, Michael, Anthony, Graceann, Joey and Helane.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday November 14, 2019 at 8:45am from The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy followed by a 9:30am Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary’s R.C. Church, South Amboy. Entombment will be in St. Mary’s Mausoleum, South Amboy. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 4 to 6pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Mary’s Church, 256 Augusta Street, South Amboy, NJ 08879.
