Cheryl Henke, 36, of South Amboy died on Tuesday May 23, 2017. Born in Perth Amboy she lived in South Amboy all her life. She was employed as a technician at St. Peter’s University Hospital, New Brunswick.

She is predeceased by her paternal grandparents Connie and Lawrence Henke, Sr.  She is survived by her daughter Izabella Pappas; her father Lawrence Henke, Jr. of Old Bridge; her mother Barbara Scully McKeon of South Amboy; her brother Lawrence Henke, III and his wife Tiffany of Marlton; her sister Melissa Henke and her boyfriend Jay Hunter of East Brunswick; her maternal grandparents Pat and Bill Scully of South Amboy; her uncles James Scully of South Amboy and William Scully of Phillipsburg; her aunt Kelly Foldi of Bath, Pennsylvania; her stepfather John Jaworowski; her nieces and nephews Morgan, Jayson and Autumn Hunter and Lawrence, IV and Colleen Henke and several cousins.

Funeral services will be held on Friday May 26, 2017 at 7:30pm at The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy. Cremation will be private. Visitation will be on Friday from 4 to 8pm.
