Debie L. Burlew Silva, 51, of South Amboy died on Monday September 10, 2018 at home after a battle with pancreatic cancer. Born in South Amboy she lived there all her life. She was employed as a mortgage processor and underwriter. She loved to cook, go camping, travel and go to the beach.
Daughter of the late Emery and Cecelia Rupinski Burlew she is also predeceased by her brothers Jerry and William Burlew. She is survived by her husband of 25 years David Silva; her daughters Morgan and Jillian Silva; her siblings Barbara DeFeo and her husband Barry of Arizona, Doris Cross and her husband Drew of Florida and her twin Danny Burlew of North Carolina; her sister-in-law Maureen Burlew of Colorado; many nieces and nephews and her faithful companions Abby and Franklin.
A memorial visitation will be held on Sunday September 16, 2018 from 12 noon to 2pm at The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy. A memorial service will be held at 1:30pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family.
