Frederick J. Billand, 71, of Sayreville died on Wednesday May 24, 2017 at home. Born in South Amboy he grew up in Laurence Harbor and lived in Keyport before moving to Sayreville in 2015. He was the owner of FLA Limousine, Keyport. He was a member of the John Basilone Detachment of the Marine Corps League and the Keyport Caesarea Masonic Lodge 64. He loved visiting upstate New York with his brother. An entertainer and talented musician he played multiple instruments and taught music lessons.

Son of the late Adam and Madeline Zilinski Billand he is survived by his brothers and sisters-in-law Richard and Juanita Billand of Harrisville, New York and Glenn and Robin Billand of North Brunswick; his loving goddaughter Loretta Sarni of Cincinnati, Ohio and several nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Saturday May 27, 2017 from 11am to 1pm at The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy. Cremation will be private.
