Freida A. Smith Barney, 71, of Cliffwood Beach died on Friday August 24, 2018 at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. Born in Neptune she lived in the Morgan section of Sayreville before moving to Cliffwood Beach. Before retiring she was employed by Unlimited Autos, Keyport.

Daughter of the late Joseph and Frances Chidnese Smith she is survived by her daughter Nicole Finnerty of Cliffwood Beach; her son Dennis Kirchgessner of Morgan and her grandchildren Justin, Brianna and Aidan.

Funeral services are private under the direction of The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy. Cremation will be private.
