Harold E. “Hal” Anderson, Jr., 59, of South River died on Friday December 22, 2017 at home. Born in South Amboy he lived in Sayreville before recently moving to South River. He was previously employed by Sunbelt Rentals, Keasbey. He loved the outdoors, especially fishing, boating, bowling and shooting darts.

Son of the late Harold E., Sr. “Sonny” and Barbara A. Ruth Anderson he is survived by his brother and sister-in-law Douglas and Nancy Anderson of Toms River; his sisters and brothers-in-law Laura and Charles Reisert of East Brunswick, Dawn and John Baska of Holland Township and Holly and Joseph Terrick of East Brunswick; his uncles Howard Ruth of Keyport and George Ruth and his wife Marlene of the Highlands; his aunt Mildred Dix of Maine and his nieces and nephews Heather, Kevin and Haley Anderson; Charlie, Chris and Nicole Reisert; Samantha, John and Tommy Baska; Joe, Jillian and Hope Terrick and his great niece Madison Kitzman.

Visitation will be on Wednesday from 4 to 8pm. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday December 27, 2017 at 7pm at The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy. Cremation will be private.
