James Morris, 72, of Parlin died on Monday December 25, 2017 at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge. Born in Mount Vernon, New York he was employed by the Middlesex County Health Inspector. He was a member of St. Bernadette R.C. Church, Parlin and was a former Republican County Committeeman. He loved being a grandfather.

Son of the late Andrew Paul and Rosemary Wymbs Morris he is also predeceased by his brother Andrew Morris. He is survived by his wife Ronnie Searlaski Morris; his sons and daughters-in-law Greg and Amy Morris of Old Bridge and Mark and Jen Morris of Old Bridge; his brother and sister-in-law Robert and Laura Sue Morris of California; his sisters Florence Morris of Texas and Rosemary Saustino of Virginia; his grandchildren Ryan, Anna, Katelyn and Sean and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday December 30, 2017 at 9:15am from The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy followed by a 10am Mass of Christian Burial at St. Bernadette Church. Interment will be in Chestnut Hill Cemetery, East Brunswick. Visitation will be on Friday from 4 to 8pm.
