Joan Duquette Garguilo Obituary

Joan M. Duquette Garguilo, 71, of South Amboy died on Sunday January 28, 2018. Born in Ludlow, Massachusetts she lived in Sayreville before moving to South Amboy 39 years ago. She was employed by Woodbridge Developmental Center. She loved taking care of her grandchildren.

Daughter of the late Joseph L. and Ann Przybycien Duquette she is also predeceased by her brother Richard Duquette. She is survived by her sons Francis Garguilo Jr. of Windsor, Pennsylvania and Joey Garguilo and his wife Marzena of Old Bridge; her daughters Yvonne Garguilo of South Amboy and Nicole Rohrbaugh and her husband Scott of East Berlin, Pennsylvania; her former spouse Francis Garguilo Sr; her sister Patricia Bladzinski of South River and her grandchildren Adriana, Samantha, Patrick, Haley, Andrew Jr, Victoria, Autumn, Colton, Austin, Caitlyn, Madison, Jenna and Shad.

Funeral services will be held on Friday February 2, 2018 at 11am at The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy. Cremation will be private. Visitation will be on Thursday from 6 to 9pm and Friday from 9 to 11am. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey, 195 Little Albany Street, New Brunswick, NJ 08901.
