Lawrence W. Henke, III, 30 of South Amboy died on Sunday August 25, 2019 at home. Born in New Brunswick he lived in Williamsburg, Virginia for 8 years before settling in South Amboy. He was employed as a paramedic for Atlantic Care, Morristown. A 2007 graduate of Sayreville War Memorial High School he was a member of the Sayreville First Aid Squad and the West Point, Virginia Fire Department.
He is predeceased by his sister Cheryl Henke in 2017 and his paternal grandparents Connie and Lawrence Henke, Sr. He is survived by his son Lawrence Henke, IV; his daughter Colleen Marie Henke; his wife Tiffany Harvey Henke; his mother Barbara Scully McKeon; his father Lawrence Henke, Jr.; his sister Melissa Henke; his maternal grandparents Pat and Bill Scully and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday August 29, 2019 at 11am at The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy followed by interment in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Parlin. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 4 to 8pm.
