Lillian Matilda Schott Figueroa, 84, of South Amboy died on Tuesday September 26, 2017 at Haven Hospice at JFK Medical Center, Edison. Born in Newark she spent most of her life in Jersey City before settling in South Amboy. A member of St. Mary’s R.C. Church, South Amboy.

Daughter of the late Harold and Matilda Schott she is also predeceased by her brothers John, James, Joseph, Harold, David, Arba and sisters Catherine, Mildred, Emily and Sara. She is survived by her husband Francisco Figueroa; her children Lillian, Allen, Doreen, Kathleen, Sara and Christina and  grandchildren: William Jr, Joseph, Lisa, Melonie, Kimberlee, Kenneth, Merlin III, Nicole, Marcus, Kristen, Ralph Jr, Kelley, Robert, Trey, Ross, Karryl, Freddie Jr, Allen Jr, Amanda, Lillian Kaylah, 18 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Friday September 29, 2017 at 8:45am from The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy followed by a 9:30am Mass at St. Mary’s Church, South Amboy. Entombment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery Mausoleum, North Arlington. Visitation will be on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
