Linda Robinson Thornley, 71, of Parlin died on Sunday June 24, 2018 at Roosevelt Care Center at Old Bridge. Born in Jersey City she lived in Lyndhurst before moving to Parlin in 1976. Before retiring she was employed by White Rose Trucking Company, Carteret.
Daughter of the late William and Ethel Robinson she is also predeceased by her son Louis Palazzo in 2012 and her daughter Nicole Thornley in 1978. She is survived by her husband Philip Thornley; her daughter Kristie Rivera of South Amboy; her sister and brother-in-law Gail Tuohy and Donald Blount of Parlin; her granddaughters Alina and Gianna; her nephew James Tuohy and Lindsey Wendroff; her niece Jessica Tuohy and her great-niece Mariela.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday June 28, 2018 at 8:30pm at The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy. Cremation will be private. Visitation will also be on Thursday from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm.
