Madeline F. Lauritsen DeLucia, 89, of South Amboy died on Tuesday January 9, 2018 at the Venetian Care & Rehabilitation Center, South Amboy. Born in South Amboy she lived there all her life. She was a member of Christ Episcopal Church, South Amboy and the South Amboy Senior Citizens Club.

Daughter of the late Emil and Madeline Ellvinger Lauritsen she is also predeceased by her husband Francis K. DeLucia in 2007; her brothers Norman, Raymond, Herbert, William and Robert Lauritsen and her sisters Dorothy Sullivan, Betty Miller and Emily Grande. She is survived by her sons Kenneth DeLucia of Santa Monica, California and Frank DeLucia and his wife Toni Lynn of Scott, Pennsylvania; her daughters Kathleen Riehl and her husband James of Wesley Chapel, Florida and Nancy Garsick of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; her sister Elsie Samuelson of South Amboy; her grandchildren Ken J. DeLucia, Kevin DeLucia and his wife Carissa, Joe and his wife Julie and David DeLucia, Maureen Walters and her husband Mike, Shannon Miller, Cheryl Nemeth and her husband Robert, Jay Riehl, Jennifer Scott and her husband Philip and Thomas and Kathleen Garsick and 11 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday January 13, 2018 at 10:45am from The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy followed by an 11:30am Mass of Christian Burial at St Mary’s R.C. Church, South Amboy. Interment will be in Christ Church Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. In lieu of flowers donations maybe made to the South Amboy First Aid Squad, PO Box 328, South Amboy, NJ 08879.
