I met Michael in 1974 at Cardinal Spellman's Servicemen's Club, and we became fast friends. We were always there for each other through thick or thin, despite living so far way from each other. A friendship like this is rare, and I'm so fortunate the good Lord put us together. I will miss you each and every day. I love you!! Rest in Peace.

My condolences....I knew Michael from Cardinal Spellman's Serviceman's Club in New York in the 70's. He was a dear friend of my late husband who was in the Coast Guard.

Not only was Michael on the same ship with me, we worked side by side in the Aft Fire room aboard the Myles C Fox DD-829 together. We went on liberty in NYC and were inseparable for the most part while I was aboard. He was one of the greatest friends I have ever had. Fair winds and following seas my shipmate and friend.

Was with Mike on the Fox in 1975!! He was the best man for me and another friend when we married our wives on 5 June 1975!! So far its been 44 years!! Mike was a great man and a good friend!! Our most sincere condolances for his loss!!
