Robert Pasternack, 71, of South Amboy died on Thursday November 9, 2017 at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy. Born in Williamsburg, Brooklyn he lived in Cobble Hill, Brooklyn and East Brunswick before moving to South Amboy in 2005. He was employed by Mulligan Securities, New York. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War.

Son of the late George and Sally Sabloff Pasternack he is survived by his wife Barbara Norris Pasternack; his son Eric Pasternack and his wife Jennifer Weise; his daughter Joy Pasternack-Siedman and her husband Craig; his sisters-in-law Maureen Szymanski, Eileen Norris and Mary Ann McKeon; his nieces Kelly Aubrey and her husband Brian and Jennifer Levy and Harry; his nephew Joe Pasternack; his cousins Jeff and Jerry Altbach; his great-nieces Kayla and Emma Aubrey and Alex Levy and his grandchildren Joshua and Carly.

Visitation will be on Sunday November 12, 2017 from 2pm to 5pm at The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy. Cremation will be private.
