Robert L. Walsh, Jr.

Robert L. Walsh, Jr., 58, of South Amboy died on Tuesday October 1, 2019 at home. Born in South Amboy he lived in Sayreville before returning to South Amboy. He was employed by Snapple Group, Carteret. A huge fan of the Grateful Dead he enjoyed riding motorcycles, especially out West to Yellowstone National Park.

Son of the late Robert, Sr. and Marie Wahler Walsh he is survived by his daughters Jessica Balzamo and her husband Matthew of Parlin, Victoria Walsh of Fords and Jennifer Walsh of Cliffwood Beach; his brother Brad Walsh of Sayreville and his granddaughter Jade Balzamo.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday October 3, 2019 at 7:30pm at The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy. Visitation will be on Thursday from 4 to 8pm. Cremation will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family and mailed to the funeral home.
