Scott M. Koy, 46, of Parlin died on Friday December 22, 2017 as the result of a motor vehicle accident. Born in South Amboy he lived in Sayreville most of his life. He was employed by Frito-Lay, Somerset. A member of St. Mary’s R.C. Church, South Amboy, he loved to travel and work with his hands, especially in woodwork.

He is survived by his wife Sharon Manion Koy; his son Matthew Koy; his daughter Rebecca Koy; his father Martin Koy of South Bound Brook; his mother Linda Paone Koy of Easton, Pennsylvania; his sister Kelly Samra and her husband Robert of Easton, Pennsylvania; his nephews William, Jack, Kalvin and Declan; his nieces Kirsten and Keira; his mother- and father-in-law Antoinette and Keith Manion of South Amboy; his brothers-in-law Kevin Manion of South Amboy and Christopher Manion and his wife Kristal of Sayreville; his sister-in-law Andrea Reese and her husband Robert of Matawan; and Bella the Bulldog.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Wednesday December 27, 2017 at 11:30am at St. Mary’s R.C. Church, 256 Augusta Street, South Amboy. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4 to 8pm at The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy.
