William Meyer, 94, of Parlin died on Sunday April 8, 2018 at Haven Hospice at JFK Medical Center, Edison. Born in Massapequa, Long Island he was a World War II and Korean War veteran of both the U.S. Army and Navy. Before retiring he was employed by Fedders Corp., Edison. He loved trips to Atlantic City and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Son of the late Frederick and Edna Clark Meyer he is also predeceased by his wife Livia Ardolino Meyer in 2016. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law Douglas and Florence Meyer of Woodbridge; his daughter and son-in-law Ester and William Jordan of Tinton Falls; his grandchildren Gary Meyer and his wife Heather, Dawn Barreiros and her husband Marcello and Melissa Graf and her husband Eric and his great-grandchildren Emile, Hayden, Christian, Lucia and Emma.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday April 11, 2018 at 12:45pm at The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy followed by interment in Clover Leaf Memorial Park, Woodbridge. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 12 noon to 12:30. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Haven Hospice, 65 James Street, Edison, NJ 08820.
