Alice Reiser Panko, 91, of Colonia died on Wednesday May 8, 2024 at home. Born in Linden she was raised in Rahway before settling in Colonia over 60 years ago. She was previously employed, with her husband, as co-owner of the Peterpank Diner. She was a member of St. John Vianney R.C. Church, Colonia.
Daughter of the late Fred and Sophie Reiser she is also predeceased by her husband Alex Panko, Sr. in 2004. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Alex, Jr. and Alexandria Panko; her daughters and sons-in-law Patricia and Gary Colaprico and Linda and Michael Murphy; her grandchildren Christie and her husband Tom, Kevin, Julianne and her husband Tom, Joseph and his wife Dana, Nicholas, Megan, Amanda and Ryan; her great-grandchildren Nina, Silas and Elaina and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Monday May 13, 2024 at 9:30am from The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy followed by a 10:30am Mass of Christian Burial at St. John Vianney Church, Colonia. Entombment will be in St. Gertrude Cemetery Mausoleum, Colonia. Visitation will be on Saturday May 11 from 2 to 6pm.
