Obituary

Alvin Saddler, 82, of Woodbridge died on Saturday April 16, 2022 at home with his family by his side. Born in Perth Amboy he grew up in Iselin before settling in Woodbridge. He served as President of Teamsters Local 701, Woodbridge.

Son of the late Albert and Louella Robson Saddler he is also predeceased by his sons Alvin, Jr. and Daniel; 4 brothers and 3 sisters. He is survived by his loving wife Gail Yunckes Saddler; his daughter and son-in-law Cheryl and John Raab; his grandchildren Stacy Saddler, Amy Pawelczyk and her husband Dan, Dawn Saddler, Scott Saddler and Jessica, Jennifer Saddler, Steven Wisol and his wife Samantha and Jason Wisol; 10 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and his beloved pets Henry and Spanky.

Relatives and friends are invited to an open house on Tuesday April 19, 2022 from 4 to 7pm Gail’s apartment. Please contact the family for the address. Cremation was private under the direction of The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy.
