Anita L. Dexheimer Semoneit

Anita L. Dexheimer Semoneit, 87, of South Amboy died on Wednesday February 19, 2025 at Country Meadows Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Born in South Amboy she lived there all her life. A member of Christ Episcopal Church, South Amboy she enjoyed painting.

Daughter of the late Reinhold R. and Ruth Kamps Dexheimer she is also predeceased by her husband Manvel Edward Semoneit in 2020 and her grandson Matthew Semoneit. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law Karl and Denise Semoneit and Kurt Semoneit and Laura Lortie; her sister Claire Kuhn; her grandson Jonathan; her granddaughter Kristen; her niece and nephews Susan Herdman and Roger, Brian and Gary Kuhn and their families and her step-granddaughters Erin and Emily and their families.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday February 25, 2025 at 10am at The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy followed by interment in Christ Church Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday from 4 to 7pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to “Dream Come True” Benefit for Ill Children, www.dreamcometrue.org.
