Ann Samuel Wahler, 89, of South Amboy died on Thursday October 26, 2023 at home. Born in Sayreville she was previously employed by E.I. DuPont, Parlin. She was a member of Sacred Heart R.C. Church, South Amboy. A loving wife and mother, she enjoyed vacationing, trips to Atlantic City and Aruba and cruises. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Daughter of the late Walter and Viola Samuel she is also predeceased by her husband of 63 years John A. Wahler, Jr. in 2015. She is survived by her daughters Diane Dusko and Joanne Alberici; her grandchildren Melanie Fennell, Jennifer Dusko and Michael, Jason and Jesse Fitzsimmons; her great-grandchildren Tyler, Kyle, Kaitlyn, Emily and Fox and many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday October 30, 2023 at 10am at Sacred Heart Church, 531 Washington Avenue, South Amboy followed by interment in St. Stanislaus Kostka Cemetery, Sayreville. Arrangements are under the direction of The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Wounded Warrior Project.
