Autumn Clementine McKim, 24, of Laurence Harbor died on Friday October 7, 2022. Born in New Brunswick, Autumn was passionate about caring for animals and helping people. A graduate of East Brunswick Vocational High School, Autumn loved to cook and to bake. Autumn was a Behavioral Health Technician who spent the last years of her life helping those who struggle with addiction. She was interested in Wiccan theology and believed in an afterlife, with one of her favorite hobbies being ghost hunting. She will be remembered as a great friend to a great many people, a caring mother to her son, a doting aunt to her niece, a comforting sister, a wonderful fur-mamma to her cats, the apple of her father's eye and a daughter beloved by her mother. To know Autumn was to love her, and she enriched the lives of all she met.
She is survived by her father Donald McKim; her mother Melissa McMillen; her son Phoenix Eckard; her sister Jessica Diehl and her grandmother Donna Maul.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday October 13, 2022 at 6:30pm at The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy. Memorial visitation will be on Thursday from 3 to 7pm. Cremation was private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Narcotics Anonymous or your local animal shelter.
