Carmela DiNardo Lanieri

Carmela DiNardo Lanieri, 91, of Matawan died on Tuesday November 6, 2018 at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. Born in Newark she lived in Clark and South Amboy before moving to Matawan. She loved cooking, arts & crafts, traveling and socializing with her friends, especially playing Bingo.

Daughter of the late Francisco and Carmela Masulli DiNardo she is also predeceased by her siblings Anthony, Rocco, Frank, Joe, Raymond, Nelly, Jean, Marie and Antoinette. She is survived by her husband Thomas Lanieri; her children Karen A. Ferrara and her husband David of Hazlet and Thomas Lanieri of Raritan and her grandchildren Dana and Michael Ferrara and Michael and Stephen Lanieri.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday November 10, 2018 at 9:45am from The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy followed by a 10:30am Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary’s R.C. Church, South Amboy. Interment will be in New Calvary Cemetery, Parlin. Visitation will be on Friday from 6 to 9pm.
