Catherine E. Burke

Catherine E. Burke, 74, of Tinton Falls died on Tuesday October 11, 2022 at The Gardens at Seabrook. Born in Jersey City, she was previously employed by the Children's Place, Matawan; JGT, Woodbridge; finally retiring from Jilco Trucking Company, Cranbury. She enjoyed spending her spare time knitting and reading.

Daughter of the late James and Pauline Sager Burke, she is also predeceased by her sister Helen Spinler in 2003, and her beloved cat, Mel. She is survived by her daughter Pauline “Polly” Petersen; her son and daughter-in-law Richard and Mary Petersen; her brother and sister-in-law Patrick and Patricia Burke; her sister and brother-in-law Marian and Peter Stamatis and her grandchildren R.J. and Kayleigh Petersen.

Cremation was private. Memorial visitation will be on Saturday October 22, 2022 from 12pm - 2pm at The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy.
