Celeste Starek Casino

Celeste Starek Casino, 91, of Parlin died on Tuesday May 30, 2023 at home. Born in Poland she was previously the owner of An-Cel Beauty Salon, Carteret. She was a member of St. Bernadette’s R.C. Church, Parlin where she sang in the choir.

Daughter of the late John and Mary Car Starek she is also predeceased by her husband Paul C. Casino in 2010. She is survived by her sister Angela Skulski and her nephews David Starek and his wife Theresa, Mark Starek, Richard Starek and his wife Lisa and Jimmy Starek and his wife Bridgett.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday June 3, 2023 at 9:45am from The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy followed by a 10:30am Mass of Christian Burial at St. Bernadette’s Church. Interment will be in St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia. Visitation will be on Friday from 3 to 7pm.
