David W. Quinlan, Sr.

David W. Quinlan, Sr., 82, of South Amboy died on Saturday August 16, 2025 at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. Born in South Amboy he lived in Cliffwood Beach for 25 years before returning to South Amboy. A U.S. Army veteran he was employed by Builders First Source, East Brunswick.

Son of the late David E. and Anna Wingler Quinlan he is also predeceased by his daughter Tanya Kaprowski in 2014 and his siblings Dennis, George, Beverly and Charlie. He is survived by his wife of 55 years Mona Jean Zebrowski Quinlan; his son and daughter-in-law David W., Jr. and Kathleen Quinlan; his sister Mary Brennan; his son-in-law Stephen Kaprowski; his grandchildren Michelle, Brianna, Skylar, David, III, Teagan, Jordyn and Isabella; his great-grandchildren Mannix, Nathan, Scarlet, Zoey, Greyson, Adeline, Hailey, Luciano and Giovanni and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday August 19, 2025 at 7:30pm at The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy. Cremation will be private. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4 to 8pm.
