Dee-Dee Haberman

Dee-Dee Haberman, 69, of South Amboy died on Thursday October 26, 2023 at her daughter’s residence. Born in Manhattan, before moving to Staten Island then San Francisco, California, Dee and Michael settled in Parlin where they raised their family. She enjoyed shopping, especially for clothes and shoes, hosting parties with friends, floating in the pool, and Disney trips with the girls! She loved spending time with her grandchildren and vacationing with her husband, always up for a dinner with friends and family at her favorite restaurants.

Daughter of the late Victor and Josephine Murgolo she is also predeceased by her husband Michael P. Haberman in 2020. She is survived by her daughter Victoria Noon and her husband DJ; her grandchildren Charles, Alexa, Dennis, Justin and Emilie; her brothers Joseph and his wife Susan, Victor and his wife Myla and Salvatore and his wife Colleen; many nieces and nephews; Dee and Michael shared 5 step-children and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, in addition to her sisters-in-law Gen Anderson and her husband Charlie, Terry Marcello and her husband Al and Adele and Rose Haberman.

Funeral services will be held on Friday October 27, 2023 at 7pm at The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy. Cremation will be private. Visitation will be on Friday October 27 from 4:30 to 7pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alfie O’Connor Memorial Scholarship, 395 Division Street, South Amboy or the Hugh Riley Rone Scholarship Fund, 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy.
