Denise A. Manion Travers

Denise Agnes Manion Travers, 72, of Sayreville, NJ, passed away on Friday, January 23, 2026, at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge, NJ surrounded by her family. She was born in South Amboy, NJ, on June 12th, 1953.

For 46 beautiful years, she shared her life with her husband, Peter. Their marriage was a true partnership, filled with support and laughter. She was a loving mother and a joy-filled, proud grandmother.

Daughter of the late William and Muriel Kohler Manion. She is also predeceased by her brother, Keith Manion; sister-in-law, Nancy Manion; and daughter-in-law, Kimberly Travers. She is survived by her husband Peter Travers; her son Cory Travers of Colonia, NJ; her daughter Kayla Dias and her husband Bruno of New Egypt, NJ; her brother Robert Manion of Morgan, NJ; her sister-in-law Antoinette Manion of South Amboy, NJ; her grandchildren Gianna, Madison, Ethan and Samantha; and many nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services will be held on Friday January 30, 2026 at 7:30pm during visitation from 4 to 8pm at The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy. Cremation will be private.
