Dennis F. Shopp

Dennis F. Shopp, 71, of South Amboy died on Saturday September 12, 2020 at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge. Born in Jersey City he moved to South Amboy in 2007. Before retiring he was employed by the NJ Sports Authority, East Rutherford. He was an avid fan of the New York Giants and New Jersey Devils.

Son of the late Albert Francis and Sarah Emily Smith Shopp he is survived by his wife Carolina Piazza Shopp; his children Dawn M. Jicha, Dennis Shopp, Jr., Daniel Shopp, Odette Shopp, Laura Arce (Jaime); his sister Deborah Hansen; his grandchildren Robert Dennis, Nicholas T. and Jonathan C. Jicha and Alyssa M., Nicholette L. and Dennis J. Shopp and his great-grandchildren Serenity and Klayton Borke and Suraya and Gianna Nix.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday September 15, 2020 at 7:30pm at The Gundrum Service “Home For Funerals” 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy. Cremation will be private. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4 to 8pm.
